FYMCA Residents Showcase Entrepreneurial Skills at Hoe Street Pop Up shop

21st November 2014

YMCA East London’s residents are giving locals a taste of their skills and talents at a Pop Up shop on Hoe Street in Walthamstow. The Pop Up shop is designed to give the residents a creative space to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and gain frontline business experience.

The Pop Up shop, located at 3 Central Parade, Hoe Street, E17 4RT, will run until 28th November 2014 and offers a variety of products and services from 10am – 4pm, including fashion, accessories, art and beauty plus more. Business services led by residents include events and property management, and a computer and mobile shop repair service. From Wednesday to Thursday evenings, the venue is transformed into a creative hub for local aspiring musicians, poets and other artists to perform.

The Pop Up shop is open to everyone and YMCA East London is encouraging locals to come and support the initiative. The space has been donated by the London Borough of Waltham Forest as part of the Love your High Street initiative.
